Uploading Product Images
Product Images are stored in the Images/products folder. FTP access to the images folder will be provided for uploading your product images in bulk for initial population of your Adhost Merchant but images may also be uploaded through the Merchant Manager Product Add and Edit screens. To upload an image, navigate to the product you wish to edit, then use the "browse" button (see picture above) to locate the image file on your computer and upload it to your Merchant product images directory.
Thumbnail Imagesare displayed on the category drill-out pages. We recommend keeping them smaller than 150 by 150 pixels. Whatever size you choose, if you wish them to line up consistently, it is best to make them all the same size - even if part of the image is blank or white space.
Image is the image that appears on the product detail page. Keeping these the same size is not as important as for thumbnails as they do not appear next to each other in tables. If this image is too wide, it will squeeze the description text, so it is best to keep it under 300 pixels wide.
Large Picture is an optional third image. If present, the "image" is click-able and opens the large picture in a new window.
