GETTING READY TO OPEN YOUR WEB ONLINE

To begin this process, Connect to the Internet. You will need to start FrontPage and have the following information ready.

Username
Password
Your domain name (i.e. http://www.yourdomainname.com)

Note: To open your FrontPage Web, go to the Start menu -- Programs -- and select Microsoft FrontPage.

THE PROCESS

Once you are in the FrontPage Explorer window, go to the FILE menu and choose OPEN .

This Getting Started Window will show up.

To open a Web not on this list, click on the More Webs... button on the top right hand corner of the above window. The following step will require you put your full domain name in a box called "Specify server or disk location" at the top of the window below.

Once you have entered your domain name, click on the List Webs button to the right of that box. Everything will grey out for one moment then a list of FrontPage Webs at your domain will be brought up. Click on the Web you want to update once, then click OK.
