Support - EMM Tutorial - Test Your Email Campaign
You should test each email campaign multiple times before you send it out to your subscribers to check for spelling and formatting errors.
- Click on the “Lists” button at the top of the page then choose “test list”
- Select the appropriate list name from the drop-down menu then click on the “test list” button.
- Choose the template from the drop-down menu; type in the email addresses of the persons you wish to receive the test message into the recipient field; choose the email formats you want to test; you may want to check the box so that “Testing” will automatically be added to the subject line of your email. Finally, click the “test list” button.
- The next page shows a Test Progress bar that will tell you when the test is complete.
- Review the email, make any changes, and test again as needed.
- You will not be able to test the unsubscribe link as you are not sending to subscribers in the database. All your normal links/redirects will work (or you can at least test them).
