Support - Improved Webmail Features
Adhost is pleased to introduce our new Webmail solution. Using our new system, Adhost Customers may access their mailbox using either a Web Browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox, or an Email Client such as Outlook or Apple Mail. In the past, Adhost Customers had to manage their webmail account separately from their email account. With the new solution, both Webmail and Email access the same Customer mailbox, so no separate management is required.

- An excellent calendaring system
- Built-in Spell Check
- An address book with Import/Export functionality so you can synchronize your contacts with your home computer.
- Highly customizable Look and Feel for your Web Interface.

IMAP vs. POP3. What’s the difference?
- Email is not stored on the Webmail servers. Under the older POP-based Webmail, mail was actually removed from the POP servers to the Webmail server by default. Instead, the Webmail servers communicate to the storage server holding your mailbox. This storage server is shared across our POP and IMAP, and Webmail servers.
- You can use webmail or an email client, from any location at any time, without worrying about where your mail is stored after you check your mail. Your mail stays in one place, so you can check it from anywhere.
- If you don’t delete mail while using the Webmail interface it will still be available if you check mail later from your Email client or Webmail client.
- If you delete mail using the Webmail interface it is removed permanently from your Adhost mailbox, so you won’t see the message again when you check mail later from a different location or application.
