Support - Outlook Express Email HTML Tutorial
Outlook Express is an Email program that is easy to install and use. Another advantage is that it comes free with most new computers and does a good job of viewing attachments.
- Open the Outlook Express program, it comes standard with Internet Explorer Version 4 and above.
- Select Tools, scroll down and select Accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab, select Add, then highlight Mail and select it.
- Type in your name and click Next
- Select that you already have an email account, and type in your email address (ie: yourname@yourdomain.com)
- Click Next.
- Type in mail.adhost.com for the incoming mail server.
In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server you need to find the outgoing mail server of your service provider. (ie: if you have an Internet connection through Earthlink, then you would type in smtp.earthlink.net) - Click Next.
- In the account name, type in your User-Id (Email Alias) that you set up with Adhost. You can choose to have the program save your password if you would like.
- Click Next
- Click Finish and setup is complete
