Support - Outlook 2000 Email HTML Tutorial
Microsoft Outlook is a comprehensive Email program that is very similar in look and feel to Outlook Express. Outlook provides additional functionality not associated with Email.
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Select Tools, scroll down and select Accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab, select Add, then highlight Mail and select it.
- Click Next
- Type in your name and click Next
- Select that you already have an email account, and type in your email address (ie: yourname@yourdomain.com)
- Click Next
- Type in mail.adhost.com for the incoming mail server.
In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server you need to find the outgoing mail server of your service provider. (ie: if you have an Internet connection through Earthlink, then you would type in smtp.earthlink.net). - Click Next
- In the account name, type in your User-Id (Email Alias) that you set up with Adhost. You can choose to have the program save your password if you would like.
- Click Next
- Select how you connect to the Internet.
- Click Next
- Click Finish and setup is complete
