Support - Outlook 2007 Email HTML tutorial
Once you have Outlook 2007 open, click on tools on the menu at the top.
- Click on Account Settings.
- Select New button under the "E-mail" tab.
- Click the check box at the bottom next to Manually Configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
- Select Internet E-mail and click Next.
- For Your Name, enter the name you wish to show up when you send emails.
- For E-mail address, enter your full email address.
- Choose POP3 or IMAP for the Account Type. See IMAP vs. POP3. What’s the difference? for more info.
- For Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server (SMTP), enter the mail server names (mail.adhost.com for both).
- Enter your POP/IMAP account name.
- If you do not want to be prompted for your password every time you check your email, enter your password in the Password field and check the Remember password box.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
