Support - Netscape Messenger Email HTML Tutorial
Netscape Communicator lets you exchange email and instant messages, participate in online newsgroups and much more. As soon as you install Netscape Communicator, you'll be ready to use Netscape Messenger for your email needs.
- Open Netscape Messenger by selecting Communicator then scroll down and select Messenger.
- After Messenger has opened select Edit then scroll down and select Preferences.
- Under the Mail & Newsgroups section select Identity and enter in the applicable information.
- Select the Mail Servers category under the Mail & Newsgroups section.
- In the Incoming Mail Servers window highlight "mail" then select Edit.
- The Outgoing Mail SMTP server is mail.adhost.com.
- In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server you need to find the outgoing mail server of your service provider. (ie: if you have an Internet connection through Earthlink, then you would type in smtp.earthlink.net) You can also obtain your password from them as well.
- Type in whatever you want for the Server Name (mail.adhost.com is recommended).
- It is a pop3 server.
- Put in your Email Alias (This is the Username you chose when setting up your Email aliases with Adhost.).
- Select OK again, your Netscape mail should be enabled for sending and receiving mail from Adhost servers.
