Support - How To Retrieve Headers

Outlook

Select the message (without opening the message) so it is highlighted
Right click on the message
Scroll down to options
Find the section called Internet Header then place cursor in the upper left most corner by left clicking once.
Select everything in the box by either
1. Holding the left mouse button down and dragging
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘A’ on the keyboard
Copy Headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area, select copy
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘C’ on the keyboard
Create a new message, reply or forward a particular message
Place the cursor in the body of that message where you want to begin pasting the copied headers
Paste the headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area, select paste
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘V’ on the keyboard

Outlook Express

Click on the ‘details’ tab
Place cursor in the upper left most corner by left clicking once.
Select everything in the box by either
1. Holding the left mouse button down and dragging
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘A’ on the keyboard
Copy Headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area then select copy
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘C’ on the keyboard
Create a new message, reply or forward a particular message
Place the cursor in the body of that message where you want to begin pasting the copied headers
Paste the headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area, select paste
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘V’ on the keyboard

Eudora / Eurdora Light

Open the email by double clicking on the subject line.
Click the 'blah blah blah' button to reveal the full headers.
Place cursor in the upper left most corner by left clicking once.
Select everything in the box by either
1. Holding the left mouse button down and dragging
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘A’ on the keyboard
Copy Headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area then select copy
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘C’ on the keyboard
Create a new message, reply or forward the message you just copied the Internet Headers from.
Place the cursor in the body of that message where you want to begin pasting the copied headers
Paste the headers either by:
1. Click the right mouse button one within the selected (highlighted) area, select paste
2. Hold ‘ctrl’ key down then press ‘V’ on the keyboard
