Support - Changing Nameservers
Adhost Name Servers
Adhost Internet nameservers are:
- ns.adhost.com
- ns0.adhost.com
These servers above should be used for domain name registration only and will only answer queries for a domain that it's authoritative for.
How to change your nameservers:
For Network Solutions:
You will have to log into your Network Solutions account by going to http://www.networksolutions.com. After you log in (under the Account Manager menu), it might say: "Domain currently points to:" and list the old nameservers. You would click "edit" next to that and then click "continue" under "Move Dns to a new name server". You might be asked to confirm your decision to edit this information on the next page; please confirm. Then you will be taken to the form where you can enter the new nameservers. Note: our nameservers may actually be listed in the drop-down menu there. If not, please type in the new nameservers and click continue. Confirm again by clicking "save dns". And Voila! you are done!
For Tucows:
You should go to http://client.adhost.com and login; then click 'Manage Domains'. Or simply go to http://manage.opensrs.net. Here you will have to log in with your domain authentication (which may be different). Once logged in, click 'Nameservers' and make your updates there.
For Go-daddy:
After logging in, select 'My Account'. Click 'Manage Domains' under 'Domain Names'. Select the domain which you want to change (or Bulk Domains). On the right-hand side, select 'Click here to see details or to modify' under Nameserver Summary. Make you changes here and select 'save changes' when done.
How to manage your domain:
Managing your domain would be done in the same interface. Just look for the aspect you want to manage, such as "Renewal".
