The Adhost Development department builds, maintains and extends web sites and web site applications for hundreds of Adhost’s customers large and small and currently has an opening for an experienced ColdFusion web developer / programmer to join our team. We’re looking for someone capable of receiving a specification from members of our Sr. Development team and then working independently and/or as part of a development team including managers, designers and DBA’s to build integrated web site applications with a focus on e-commerce, content management and custom back-office integrations.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Maintain and enhance existing websites and applications as required
• Develop new websites and applications as required
• Conduct testing and debugging as required

• Write / contribute to Functional Specifications
• Assist with Cost Estimation
• Write / Assist with Documentation

• B.S. in Computer Science or other related field of study or (5 years equivalent experience)
• 2+ years ColdFusion (Fusebox methodology) experience.
• 2+ years experience with MsSQL (preferred) or other RDBMS
• Understanding of HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• Understanding of web standards
• Proven ability to work from a Functional Specification to create well-structured code
• Excellent communications skills.
