ASP.NET 4.0 Hosting is Live

We are excited to announce that Adhost now offers Microsoft’s newly released ASP .NET 4.0 on all of our shared Windows hosting plans. ASP.NET 4.0 is the newest version of Microsoft’s web application framework and allows programmers to build dynamic web sites and web applications. You can learn more about ASP.NET 4.0 on this ASP.NET blog.

Existing sites for Adhost clients will remain set to 2.0. All new sites will be set to 4.0 (there is no 3.0 or 3.5 selection, that functionality is included in 2.0 and 4.0). We do not plan to install 4.0 on our Windows 2003 servers, and clients on our Windows 2003 servers desiring 4.0 will need to be migrated to our Windows 2008 servers.
