Watchguard Security Seminar

One of Adhost’s newest Seattle colocation clients, WatchGuard, invites Adhost clients to their upcoming Lunch Security Seminar. The Lunch and Learn, “Emerging Security Threats Solved”, is being held from 11:30 to 1:30 on MARCH 4th at WatchGuard Corporate Headquarters, Seattle.  You will get an update from Corey Nachreiner on the latest in cybercrime events and learn how to fight these complex attacks while decreasing their network costs.  Corey Nachreiner is an amazing speaker.  (He includes live hack demonstrations in this too!)

IPv6 Update from Adhost CTO

As of January 30th, Adhost is Time Warner Telecom’s first IPv6 customer.  Adhost has been at the forefront of the IPv6 rollout and has been committed to convincing our providers to adopt IPv6 across their networks.  We currently have multi-homed IPv6 connectivity through Time Warner and NTT/Verio, and we’re working to get additional IPv6 connectivity through AboveNet and Level 3.

The latest estimates indicate that the last available IPv4 space will be allocated and used by 2011.  After that point, no additional IPv4 addresses will be available for use on the Internet.  Adhost has been actively using IPv6 space since 2005, so we are well positioned to transition seamlessly to an IPv4/IPv6 “dual-stack” Internet and then to an IPv6-only Internet.

Adhost Development Team and 3G Americas Web Site

You can’t get out the message about an exciting technology with a Web site that gets in your way. So, when 3G Americas needed a new look and better function to support their mission to get out the message about 3G technology, they contacted Adhost. The Adhost Development team worked with 3G Americas Communications team to produce an exciting new site that communicates to all of their constituents throughout the Western Hemisphere, and presented in one of three different native languages!
