Adhost Relocates to Fisher Plaza

Adhost Internet Outgrows Data Center

Growing customer base and demand for advanced services fuels company growth.

Bellevue, Washington - Adhost Internet, a leading provider of business-class Web hosting services, announced today plans to relocate their data center and company headquarters from First Mutual Center in Bellevue to Fisher Plaza in Seattle. Due to the company’s growth over the past seven years, which includes an acquisition of a local hosting company, Adhost has outgrown their current data center and office space.

Adhost’s expanding customer base combined with a growing demand for more complex Internet services necessitated the company’s move to a larger and more technologically advanced facility. While other hosting companies have downsized, gone out of business, or been acquired by larger corporations over the past three years, Adhost has continued its path of planned, steady growth.

"Throughout our extensive analysis of potential new locations, we considered several properties in the Seattle area, each with a robust telecommunications presence. Fisher Plaza’s mission critical offices combined with impressive building systems and advanced technology made their facility the best choice for our company and our customers," said Will Riffle, President and CEO of Adhost. "As one of the most advanced communication hubs in the world with redundant telecom and fiber providers, Fisher Plaza provides an optimal location for Adhost’s long-term growth and development. In addition, the tenant-favorable leasing market in Seattle makes relocation at this time an ideal proposition for us."

The new data center includes:

  • Seven redundant telecom and fiber providers in a carrier neutral environment
  • Six 1.5 to 2.0 megawatt emergency generators with a one week supply of fuel, plus emergency refueling contracts in place
  • Enhanced seismic design meeting some of the most stringent earthquake standards in the nation
  • Raised access floor system
  • Redundant AC power riser pathways
  • Two emergency wells to supply water to cooling towers
  • 24x7x365 on site security and monitoring
  • Perimeter and interior card key access system

“Adhost is a fantastic example of the type of customer that can leverage off the capabilities and services available within Fisher Plaza,” said Kirk Anderson, president of Fisher Media Services Co., a division of Fisher Communications, Inc. "Fisher Plaza provides Adhost the unique ability to maximize their competitive business advantage to easily adapt and expand operations now and into the future.”
