Adhost Data Centers Pass SAS 70 Type II Audit
We are pleased to announce Adhost successfully passed a SAS 70 Type II audit for the time period July 16, 2008 – July 15, 2009. During a week-long on-site visit, an independent service auditor examined the policies, procedures and business processes in place at Adhost over the one-year time period. The following controls related to the colocation services provided in our Seattle data centers were audited:

Fisher Plaza East Forensic Report Update
Fisher Plaza has released the official forensic report from the Plaza East electrical failure event on July 2. The event resulted in extensive damage to two 5000 A bus ducts connecting the utility source equipment located in an adjacent electrical vault to the building power switchboards in the electrical room. A Shiny New Web Site for Boma Sterling Silver Jewelry
Boma Sterling Silver has a reputation for being the leader in the sterling-silver industry based on their quality product, first-class customer service and trendy designs. However, they needed new Web site to match their reputation. Boma came to Adhost with a basket of big goals for their new Web site, and we worked with them to find an affordable, flexible solution. Adhost has completed our security systems upgrade in both our Plaza East and Plaza West datacenters. With the work now complete, both data centers are monitored 24x7 with multiple, motion-sensitive cameras. In addition, both datacenters have glass break alarm systems installed so that anyone attempting to enter the data center by breaking a window will trigger the alarm which is tied directly into the building security system. These systems are in addition to our card reader access and alarm systems that are also tied into building security.
