For quite some time now, our friends at Pools.com have offered a fantastic selection of pools, spas, accessories, toys & floats, pool chemicals – in short, everything for the existing pool and spa owner or those ready to take the plunge – all powered by the Adhost Merchant E-Commerce Storefront. This year, the mission was a complete revamping of the site and product selection just in time for summer shopping. Adhost Project, Programming and Webmaster resources worked with Pools and with San Diego-based SiteLab (Pool’s design partner) to coordinate a simultaneous roll-out of a new design, new features, new servers and an operating system upgrade. Escort.logon.net Server Maintenance Event
On Monday evening, May 23rd beginning at 9:00PM PDT and lasting until 11:00PM PDT 2005, Adhost Internet will be replacing the hardware that is running the mail server escort.logon.net (at IP of 216.211.137.5). This change will only affect customers using mail services on this server - note that Adhost’s primary mail cluster - mail.adhost.com – will be unaffected. While mail services through escort.logon.net will experience a brief service disruption during this time, we expect the downtime to be less than fifteen minutes and it is unlikely that your service outage will extend for the length of the maintenance time frame. Adhost will make every effort to minimize the impact of any downtime.

Adhost has partnered with Divinsa to offer online backup services for our colocation clients. For a monthly fee starting at $12 per month, we will backup the data on your server(s) and transfer it over the Internet to Divinsa's secure offsite servers. The backups are fully automated, and you can reliably restore data at any time, including previous versions of files. Other benefits include compression of data before transmitting to save on storage costs and 448-bit encryption of your data for complete protection and regulatory compliance. AOL and sites in the FindWhat.com network now offer "pay-per-call" ads on their search results pages. Unlike traditional sponsored ads, pay-per-call ads display a toll-free telephone number rather than a sponsored link to a Web site. Pay-per-call ads are often more expensive but may work well for local searches or for sales that need a human touch. For more information, visit:
