You have probably noticed the amount of junk email you receive is on the rise. Adhost's main mail server is currently handling about 2 million emails per day. Of those, we are rejecting about 1.2 million via spam and virus filtering, and bouncing another 300,000 per day due to bad addresses. That means we are blocking approximately 75% of all email that our main server receives.

Here at Adhost we have taken many steps to protect our customers in the fight against junk email. As an additional measure in the attempt to cut down on the ever-increasing quantities of spam, we have enabled a new method for blocking known spam centers, open relays, etc. on Adhost's mail server.

The list of IP's we are using is at list.dsbl.org, or the "Distributed Server Boycott List". Note that of the three lists offered, we are using the least intrusive, the one that is created only by their "trusted users".

Seattle Art Museum

There's always a lot happening at the SAM, and right now you can see the "Van Gogh to Mondrian" special exhibition until September 12th. Tacoma Museum of Glass

This gem in Tacoma offers a multitude of art exhibitions to view as well as "hands-on" art projects offered daily at the Studio. Don't miss the exciting Hot Shop where you can see a working glassblowing studio in action. If you're on a budget, visit on the third Thursday of each month from 5 to 8 p.m. and get in free. Kids under the age of six are always admitted free of charge.

Frye Art Museum

The Frye Art Museum is located on First Hill above the downtown Seattle area, specializing in painting and sculpture from the nineteenth century to the present.
